There are 76 townhouse style units in the complex which was built in the 1970s. Stedwick Village One offers 2 and 3 bedroom multi-level townhomes with 1.5 baths and a finished basement. Mount Olive has easy access to Interstate 80 for an eastbound commute. U.S. Route 206 runs north-south through the Township. The community has a train station on the NJ Transit Morristown Line which provides direct service to Hoboken Terminal. Passengers can transfer to another train in for Midtown Direct service to NY Penn Station. At Hoboken Terminal, passengers can switch to the PATH to reach NYC. The NJ Transit Montclair-Boonton Line also passes through the station. Lakeland Bus Lines provides service from Mount Olive or Netcong to NY Port Authority Terminal in Midtown. During rush hour, the bus ride takes about 80 minutes.
Public schools for residents include Tinc Road School (Kindergarten-5), Mt. Olive Middle School (6-8), and Mt. Olive High School (9-12).
There is an amazing about of nearby shopping for residents. The ITC Crossing, an 860,000 square foot shopping center adjacent to the International Trade Center, is located in Mount Olive. This complex is easily accessible to Interstate 80 and U.S. Routes 46 and 206. ITC Crossing features a host of retail shops including larger national chains like Sam's Club, Wal-Mart, Lowe's Home Improvement, The Gap, and Old Navy. It also features many of America's most popular fast-food and casual-dining restaurants. The Rockaway Townsquare Mall is about 15 minutes away in Rockaway Township and is one of the largest and most modern malls in New Jersey. The Ledgewood Mall and Roxbury Mall are about 10 minutes away in Roxbury Township.
