Spruce Edge is a townhome community located in Mountain Lakes Borough in Morris County, NJ. There are approximately 68 units in the complex which was built between 1990 and 1995. Spruce Edge offers 3 bedroom townhomes with 2-car garages and basements. The units feature a contemporary design with skylights, fireplaces, interior balconies, and soaring ceilings. Most of the townhomes have approximately 3,000 square foot of living space, not including finished basements. Some of the units back to woods or a reflecting pond. All of the townhomes are situated on four-unit cul-de-sacs. The development is a homeowners association, not a condominium association. As of the year 2017, Wilkin Management was employed by the residents. The monthly association fee was approximately $410 and includes exterior building maintenance, common area maintenance, and snow removal. Residents of the community enjoy lake privileges including swimming, sailing, ice skating, and more. Spruce Edge has easy access to Interstate 287 and 80.

Spruce Edge in Mountain Lakes has easy access to Interstate 287 and 80. Residents can walk to the Mountain Lakes train station on the NJ Transit Montclair-Boonton Line which offers direct service to Hoboken Terminal. Passengers can transfer to another train or bus before Hoboken for a Midtown Manhattan commute. At Hoboken Terminal, passengers can switch to the PATH to reach NYC. Lakeland Bus provides service from Mountain Lakes to NY Port Authority in Midtown. During rush hour, the bus ride takes about 65 minutes.
Mountain Lakes Public Schools serve students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. Schools in the district are Wildwood School for grades K-5, Briarcliff School for grades 6-8, and the High School for grades 9-12. Students from the neighboring town of Boonton Township also attend the High School.
There is an amazing amount of nearby shopping for residents. From big chain stores in Parsippany and East Hanover, to small shops and boutiques in Boonton and Morristown, everything you need is just a short drive away. The Rockaway Townsquare Mall is about 15 minutes away in Rockaway Township. The Willowbrook Mall is about 20 minutes away in Wayne.
